$800 flat  ·  five pages  ·  live in two weeks

Five pages. $800. No surprises.

I build simple, fast websites for small businesses that just need to look credible and be easy to find. One price, quoted before we start. No monthly fees, no retainer, no account manager. You call, I answer.

The short version

Most small businesses don’t need a big website.

They need five good pages that load fast on a phone, say what they do, and give people a way to get in touch. That’s the whole job.

The trouble is that the agencies quoting $6,000 have to justify $6,000, so they sell strategy workshops and brand discovery sessions to a plumber who wanted a phone number above the fold. And the $99/month website builders leave you renting your own business’s front door, forever.

I do the middle thing nobody offers: a small, well-built site, at a price that makes sense for a small business, that you own outright when it’s finished.

See exactly what’s included

Included in every build

Everything you need, and nothing you don’t.

The same package every time. That’s how the price stays flat and the timeline stays honest.

01

Five pages, written and built

Typically Home, Services, About, a gallery or project page, and Contact — but they’re your five. We decide together before anything gets built.

02

Tested on real phones

Most of your visitors are on a phone in a parking lot. Every page is checked at phone, tablet and desktop sizes before it goes anywhere near live.

03

A contact form that works

Wired to a proper third-party form service, so enquiries land in your inbox. Tested end to end. No customer data is stored on the site.

04

Hosting set up for you

Your site runs on Cloudflare Pages, on your own account. Fast everywhere, and free at the traffic a small business actually gets.

05

Domain guidance

I’ll help you pick and register the right domain — in your name, on your card, so it’s yours and stays yours. I’ll do the technical connection.

06

A plain-English handoff doc

Where everything lives, what the logins are, how to change your hours, and who to call. Written so it still makes sense to you in a year.

Pricing

One number.

Prices in Canadian dollars. GST extra where it applies.

$800 flat, all in

The standard five-page build. Same price whether you’re a roofer in Sherwood Park or a bookkeeper in Halifax.

  • Five pages, built and tested
  • Contact form wired up and working
  • Hosting configured on your own account
  • Domain guidance and setup
  • Handoff document
  • Two rounds of revisions before launch

Half up front to book your slot, half when the site goes live. Post-launch changes are $50/hour, one-hour minimum — no monthly retainer, because most small sites don’t need one.

Example builds

Three complete sites you can click through right now.

I’m newer at this, so instead of showing you a portfolio I don’t have yet, I built three full demonstration sites. They’re fictional businesses, but they are real, finished, five-page builds — exactly what $800 gets you.

All three example sites are clearly labelled as demonstrations on every page. The businesses aren’t real — the work is.

How it goes

Four steps, about two weeks.

Timelines assume you can get me your text and photos in the first few days. If you can’t, that’s fine — we just start the clock later.

  1. We talk for twenty minutes

On the phone, not over a form. I ask what your business does, who calls you, and what you want the site to accomplish. If I’m not the right fit, I’ll say so on that call.

Day 1 · free, no obligation

  2. You get a written scope

One page, plain English: the five pages we agreed on, what’s included, the price, and the date it’ll be live. Nothing starts until you say yes to it.

Day 2–3 · 50% deposit books your slot

  3. I build it and show you

You get a private link to the real site, on real hosting, before it’s public. Two rounds of revisions are included — you tell me what to change, I change it.

Day 4–10 · two revision rounds included

  4. It goes live and it’s yours

Domain connected, form tested, handoff document in your inbox. The hosting account and domain are in your name. If you and I never speak again, your site keeps running.

Day 11–14 · balance due on launch

Good fit

This is probably right for you if…

  • You’re a trade, a shop, a clinic, a consultant, or a one-person operation
  • You mostly need to look legitimate and be reachable
  • Your site content doesn’t change more than a few times a year
  • You’d rather pay once than pay monthly forever
  • You want to talk to the person actually doing the work

Not a fit

You should hire someone else if…

  • You need to sell products online or take payments
  • You need customer accounts, logins, or a booking system
  • You need a blog or news section you’ll update every week
  • You need a custom web application, not a website
  • You need a full brand identity designed from scratch

I’d rather turn down a job than take one I can’t do properly. If you ask for any of the above, I’ll tell you honestly and point you somewhere better.

Who you’re hiring

A real person, not a ticket queue.

This is a part-time business, and I’m upfront about that, because it’s the reason the price works.

I have a limited number of build slots, and I take on one project at a time. That means your two weeks are actually your two weeks. It also means that when I’m booked, I’ll tell you when I’m free rather than squeezing you in and doing a worse job.

I also use AI tooling as part of how I work. I’m not going to be coy about it — it’s a large part of why I can charge $800 instead of $4,000. Every line still gets reviewed and tested by me, and I’m the one who answers when you call. You’re hiring my judgement and my accountability; the tools are just tools.
